I bought it from a friend who bought it from new. He had it sprayed.

This is my whole story that I want the biking community to know what type of company Marin are: I showed this to Marin at Crankworx Whistler and they really wanted me to take the bike away, so people wouldn't see it. I told them that I didn't ave an original receipt and they said that it would be fine and that they would give me a crash replacement for 200 dollars. So I was stoked! But when I e-mailed them they said that I had to have an original receipt and that it would be 700 dollars plus HST and shipping!! It also doesn't come with a shock so I would have to buy a new one. So all together it would cost me approx 1100 dollars not the 200 that they told me at crankworx. I understand that the majority of times you do need a receipt but when the guy at crankworx said that I didn't need one its ridiculously annoying. I cannot believe the bad customer service provided by Marin. I hope that these pics and my story will put off people from buying Marin!!

I was riding in Whistler and landed from a jump and the bike just folded as you can see in the pic. The bike was in good condition and I wasn't even riding hard! So annoying! Don't buy Marin!! I spoke to them as Crankworx in Whistler (at their tent with the bike) and they said that they were going to sort me out with a new frame for 200 dollars and then when I e-mailed them to follow up they offered me nothing. I hate Marin so much now!
